Sebel Resort Hawkesbury is set among 8 hectares of landscaped gardens with a beautiful lakeside backdrop.
The resort is conducive to conferences and business meetings throughout the year. A frequent scene at the resort is a lobby, patio or bar filled to overflowing with lively conference attendees relaxing after a long session.
Rooms are spacious and suites look out to a hillside setting. Tennis courts or bocce by the lake are added amenities. Nearby golf courses (see Recreation) let you get in a round before the sun is too high. And if pampering is your thing, the magnificent Villa Thalgo Day Spa is on site, just a few steps away from your accommodation.
The drive from Sydney CBD is approximately one hour and if you arrive on a Friday, the Harvest restaurant sets out an outstanding seafood buffet. In spring and autumn, early evening jazz concerts by the lake are the perfect way to unwind after a long week.

Tall ceilings and windows, timber floors, massive furniture and the unique privacy of a rural setting - this is Tizzana, a purpose-built award-winning, fully licensed B&B.
Each large bedroom offers comfortable king-size beds, ceiling fans and is fully air-conditioned. French doors lead to a charming private verandah and courtyard garden.
A large guest lounge with vaulted ceiling and exposed beams is a reminder of the old winery processing room. On our visit - a 25-degree day in November - hosts, Peter and Carolyn Auld pointed out a slow combustion wood-fired stove which makes for a toasty night in winter. We did not ask them to fire it up!
A fully catered and serviced breakfast is our idea of style and at Tizzana breakfast is a major production. Served in the breakfast nook, the view looks down to the lily pond. Stunning rural beauty! (Not a well-kept secret: breakfast can be served in your room or on the verandah.
To make your stay exceptional - by prior arrangement - two extraordinary services are available. Dinner upon your arrival can be waiting, and if you wish to see the countryside during your stay, a picnic hamper can be prepared.
